This is me

Hi, I'm Emily, and I am a recent Graduate from the University of Huddersfield with a 2:1 in Fashion Design with Marketing. I am currently seeking a job in the Marketing industry.

The work showcased on this portfolio shows my most recent final major project work. For this project, I aimed to create a collection and brand that reflected my passions and values.

My inspiration for this collection stemmed from mental well-being and nature. I explored how being out in nature can impact one's mood through the release of hormones, which led me to incorporate other elements that contribute to overall well-being. This is where the concepts of acupressure and crochet came into play. I aspired to develop a unique and innovative collection under the brand name Florentius.

Florentius is a modern yoga and athleisure wear brand that places a strong emphasis on supporting and advocating for mental health and well-being among young adults. Additionally, the brand is committed to being sustainable by utilizing organic and eco-friendly materials such as recycled yarn and bamboo jersey. To further promote sustainability and foster brand loyalty, I envisioned a feature where customers can send their worn items back for repair, thereby reducing garment waste and contributing to environmental conservation."
